NOT NEWS TO THE DALLAS MORNING MOVEON.ORG NEWS
*GOP Rep. sues over Obama’s congressional health exemption; ‘legal authority exceeded’
*In Nev., 75% of illegal immigrants fail written driving test
(Nevada is 11th ignorant state to offer this. Newsworthy, of course – but not at The News.)
*Obama recently warned of ‘excessively high temperatures harming public’
(C’mon. Great irony!! But at The News, these yuks are reserved for Republicans.)
*HHS uses deadly Arctic blast to push Obamacare sign-ups
(About to die? We’ll save you!!)
Meanwhile, The News’ “news” and opinion
*Judges question burden posed by [Texas] abortion law, p. 1A – Quick – what impression do you get from that headline? That these judges seem to think the law is a “burden” to women, right? But that’s not the story at all, friends. It’s just the opposite. Both judges quoted here question the pro-abort lawyers’ claims. No judge is quoted questioning the law. (See below.) Proper headline: Judges question claims of abortion law foes. … (Once again, below — note the on-line headline is less liberal than the print. I find that intriguing. It’s been true for some time.)
*Senate restarts jobless-benefits talk, AP, p. 4A – Again today, no mention that ending these benefits was part of last month’s glorious budget bill compromise. As usual, cuts offered by Dems are quickly eliminated — and, as usual, the mainstream media keep the waters muddy.
*Exclusion Zones, Editorial, p. 10A – Blah, blah, blah. Dallas whites are racist. They must pay. HUD’s findings are gospel. Blah, blah, blah. … Until “Lovey Howell” Willey’s crew publishes data showing how far each of them live from “low-income” housing, (no names — just map dots), their righteous bleating may be ignored.
