Dallas Morning News Bias – January 31, 2014

The News responded to my claim that no GOP State of the Union Response story appeared in my Wednesday paper —  an email from DMN Editor Bob Mong and a phone call from newsroom editor Mark Edgar.

Evidently, a story made later editions – in Dallas itself and closer suburbs – but didn’t clear soon enough to make editions going to McKinney and northward.
Fair enough, gentlemen. Thank you.

So why not run it the NEXT day – Thursday – like The News does for late Rangers or Mavericks games? They did not.

NOT NEWS TO THE DALLAS MORNING DAILY KOS
*Obamacare’s unpopularity rises among uninsured
(And check out these Pa. employees, below, learning what Obamacare will cost them. … The fraud being perpetrated by our mainstream media is stunning.)

OP-ED YOU WON’T SEE IN THE DALLAS MORNING DAILY KOS
Millennials’ Abandonment Threatens Obama’s Agenda
Meanwhile, The News’ “news”:
*Best year since recession’s end?, AP, p. 1A – Check out this lede: “Consumers will spend more. Government will cut less. Businesses will invest more. And companies will hire more.” Izzat journalism — or Dear Leader Obama’s latest Executive Order? Good grief. … AP bases this prospective “news” on “a government report.” LOL. That’s funny — and just in time for the mid-term elections! … Not mentioned: Obamacare’s coming employer mandate — which Dear Leader conveniently and quite illegally put-off a year — when an estimated 90 million Americans will lose their health plans and pay waaaaay more; and, the effects of Dear Leader’s ongoing flood of EPA and HHS regs.
*Crazy talk the big winner at GOP debate, Floyd column, p. 1B– Wouldn’t it be great if The News had just one conservative Metro or Business columnist whose main job it was to RIP, RIDICULE and INSULT liberals? Just one. (I’m available, Bob.) … And look! Former-embryo Hacki takes another shot at the unborn Munoz baby she so desperately despised: that “malformed fetus,” she snarls. (Stay classy, ma’am.)
*‘We have an advocate in heaven,’ Adelfa Callejo funeral, p. 1B– I don’t think I’ve seen Ms. Callejo once called “controversial” by a DMN scribe. Maybe I missed it. It’s possible. Just sayin.’ But it would seem apt for one so closely tied to groups like MALDEF andLa Raza. Plus, Callejo once said Obama would have a hard time getting Hispanic support because he was black. She explained in this 2008 CNN report: “When blacks had the numbers, they didn’t do anything to support us. They always used our numbers to fulfill their goals and objectives, but they never really supported us, and there’s a lot of hard feelings about that. I don’t think we’re going to get over it anytime soon.” (I’m sorry, but that sounds …. racist, no?) … Nothing wrong with giving a full picture, guys. You’d do it for a conservative’s death.
