Dallas Morning News Bias – October 12, 2013

Enjoy your Obamacare, America. We did all we could to stop it – but it looks like the RINO party has caved.
If nothing else the “shutdown” exposed Dear Leader for the tyrant he is — with his actions toward American citizens at war memorials and his jack-booted use of the national park service.
This is exactly what we’ll face once leftists totally control our healthcare.
Submit or be punished.
Also, I saw close-up this morning the disdain many fellow Republicans have for tea partiers.
In a “shutdown” discussion I didn’t start at my local coffee joint, I was mocked as illogical and in need of a reality-check by one who supposedly shared by goals.
I was told Obamacare was passed by Congress and signed by the pres, blah, blah, blah.
I was told the tea party now needed to “lose power.”
I was told the GOP needs to broaden its outreach, yada, yada, yada.
I passionately defended my position to each of his points, noting strongly that we weren’t going anywhere and that the GOP wouldn’t win another election without us.
With each point I made he shot a knowing, sneering glance at a nearby observer. The one that says, “We got us a real nut-bag here.”
I concluded by inviting him to join the Democrat party.
He concluded by standing over my chair on his way out and calling me an a–hole.
NOT NEWS TO THE DALLAS MORNING PRAVDA PICAYUNE
2) Thousand of doctors fired by United Healthcare
3) Tavis Smiley: ‘Black people will have lost ground in every single economic indicator’ under Obama
Meanwhile The News’ “news”
*GOP scrambles for a new plan, WashPo, p. 1A – Oh, good. We’re close to a deal! The “suffering” EPA workers will now get their back-pay — for doing nothing. … Now how ’bout some stories on people actually suffering under Obamacare? Izzat in the cards? Or, maybe a feature on just what these thousands of North Texas “non-essential” EPA workers actually do all day.
*[Dallas Mayor] Rawlings: Shutdown ‘immature’, p. 13A – There is no “shutdown.” The federal government is still funded and operating at 83%.
Experts: [Obamacare] Law not a job killer, p. 1A – Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! … That’s just a lie, friends. … DMN Dem scribe Michael Lindenberger uses a DMN storyline staple here: conservatives-say-this-but-we-found-otherwise. It’s where their minds begin — for any subject. Note, we’ve not seen The News report, “Obama said if you like your healthcare plan, you doctor, you can keep it. Obama said your premiums would go down. None of that is true.”
*Cruz’s offices aren’t answering phones, p. 13A – Sad, isn’t it, how The News treats Texas’ first Hispanic senator? (Another conservatives-say-this-but we-found-otherwise story: ‘Cruz says “lawmakers need to answer the call of our constituents,” but “[he] might want to check his own phone lines first.) … Here, DMN Dem scribe Emily Wilkins gets 18 inches to describe Cruz as the only Texas lawmaker sending callers to voicemail during this “shutdown.” That’s simply not true, folks. I called both Cruz’s and Cornyn’s offices this week and got similar voicemails noting temporary staff cutbacks, but asking me to leave a message. … The News will continue to marginalize, isolate Cruz. It’s right outa Alinsky.
