Dallas Morning News Bias – October 8, 2013

THE TRUTH OF OBAMACARE IS COMING OUT — WHAT REPUBLICANS HAVE WARNED ABOUT
— AND THE DMN SIMPLY WILL NOT REPORT IT.
NOT NEWS TO THE DALLAS MORNING MOVEON.ORG NEWS
1) Park Service OKs amnesty rally on ‘closed’ national mall
2) Fed bar visitors from Mt. Rushmore viewing area
3) Truckers to tie up D.C., demand Obama’s impeachment
Meanwhile, The News’ “news” and opinion
*Tensions rise as impasse persists, NYT, p. 1A – Context still missing in The News: what jack-booted Dear Leader Obama is closing during this shutdown is unprecedented. Thanks to that, The News spreads the false impression to today’s ignorant that these acts are standard and required.

*Fertilizer That Kills; Is Ammonium Nitrate ban in order? Editorial, p. 10A – Toldja, folks: The News wants to ban fertilizer. (It’s the lib way. See gun-control.) And, risibly, these do-gooders site as fine precedent the banning of DDT. (Scu’ me while I tee this up:) The needless banning of DDT is responsible for the deaths of MILLIONS of Africans from malaria. The blessed World Health Organization (WHO) even supports DDT’s use in saving lives.
*Dark side of youth sports, Family Medicine column, p. 4E – Let’s ban youth sports too!!! (Good idea, DMN!)
*Health care faces greater struggles, Landers Global Beat, p. 1D; Know your networks: Some hospitals out, Schnurman commentary, p. 1D – Side-by-side, top-o-the-page pro-Obamacare Op-Eds in from the grinning Business News bros.! (We’re solucky.) … Check out Dem scribe Jim Landers, on what’s going on around “the globe”: “Republicans have not prevailed in normal channels, so they are trying extraordinary paths to stop [Obamacare.]” So tell me, Jimbo, what’s abnormal about winning the House of Representatives, then trying to stop a law passed without a single GOP vote, using the Constitutionally-approved power of the purse? And tell me, what “normal channels” has Dear Leader used to rewrite Obamacare on the fly, to change our immigration laws, to refuse to defend DOMA? … Meanwhile, Schneering Schnurman refers to our future forced suffering as “the health care revolution” — and he says it’s gonna take awhile, so take a number; these are “growing pains.” Hey, Schnurm, maybe you missed it, but Dear Leader’s “revolution” is far from won. And missing from this discussion of losing your current doctor and/or planDear Leader promised this WOULD NOT happen.
